COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College wrestling program has added
a total of 25 commitments for the 2009-10 school year, the school
announced on Tuesday.



The commitments will be members of the first Lindsey Wilson wrestling
team that begin varsity competition this fall. The school announced last
October the addition of wrestling to its athletics programs.



"The team is really starting to take shape and I think all of these guys
are as eager as I am to get started," Lindsey Wilson wrestling coach
Corey Ruff said. "They realize that they have an opportunity to be a
part of something special here at Lindsey Wilson.



"These young men are committed to improving over the summer and I think
we can be very competitive by the end of our first season. The
recruiting process is not over as I am looking to add more depth to each
weight class in the coming weeks."



The Lindsey Wilson wrestling season begins in November.
