Schmidt was a three-year all-conference performer for the Bluejays: she earned honorable mention honors as a sophomore, was named to the second team as a junior and was an honorable mention selection as a senior. Schmidt also has close ties to Concordia athletics. Her father, Grant Schmidt, is Concordia's athletic director and head men's basketball coach.

MITCHELL, S.D. - Dakota Wesleyan head women's basketball coach Aaron Kahl has announced that Marie Olson has signed a letter of intent to compete for the Tigers during the 2008-09 season.

Olson, a senior at Baltic High School, is a four-time Big East All-Conference selection and four-time Tri-Valley All-Conference selection. She was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs in basketball and volleyball.
